Moore Family Gathering - 2009

Our Moore family Gathering...we could not get everyone, but we had Grandpa & Grandma, Greg & the girls, The Lindsays, The Gibbons, Jessica and our little family. We went to Farmers Market, Avila, Montana de Oro, swimming & zip lines at the Moores and ended with 4th of July celebrations. As always, it was fun watching the cousins play, eating great food and catching up with everyone.

Carly and fiance Jeff...they came to visit because Jeff broke his tooth (one week before their wedding) and Fly Guy offered to fix it, so he could look good for their big day!

Doug & the twins...it was fun watching them so excited about everything their Dad was showing them.

Funny Things

Today K's teacher was helping him say a prayer. She whispered to him "and help the Holy Ghost to be present"...he said and "please help the Holy Ghost to be the President!"
Election 2008: E stated that he was voting for Obama. My first instinct was, not in this home, but I held my toungue. He had read his Scholastic News and found and that Obama loved peanut butter. That was enough to win him over.
E: Yesterday he explained that when he is older he will travel the world and then go on a mission to Mexico so he can speak Spanish and teach and preach about Heavenly Father. I asked him if he would miss us and he said no because he would take a picture of us with him.
Sleep Training: We have been attempting to sleep train E2..the biggest problem is S, who screams "Get Him Out of Here and Don't Bring Him Back!" everytime she hears him cry.
