This year we have three kids in soccer. At first I thought we were crazy, but seriously it has been so much fun. I think we are all exhausted after our Saturdays full of games, but watching the kids enjoying themselves so much makes it all worth it. E showing his look of concentration... K is the tallest on his team and loves to play defense. S loves soccer... every time she makes a goal she turns to us and gives us a thumbs up!
Well, I am playing catch up on the blogging. This year three of our children are in the same school. E2 was so sad the first day when he realized that he was all alone with me. K is in 2nd and E started 4th grade. I cannot believe they are growing up this fast. S started Kindergarten this year. I almost cried dropping her off. She was so happy to start her first day and even wanted me to just drop her off without getting out of the car. That did not happen!
Today K's teacher was helping him say a prayer. She whispered to him "and help the Holy Ghost to be present"...he said and "please help the Holy Ghost to be the President!"
Election 2008: E stated that he was voting for Obama. My first instinct was, not in this home, but I held my toungue. He had read his Scholastic News and found and that Obama loved peanut butter. That was enough to win him over.
E: Yesterday he explained that when he is older he will travel the world and then go on a mission to Mexico so he can speak Spanish and teach and preach about Heavenly Father. I asked him if he would miss us and he said no because he would take a picture of us with him.
Sleep Training: We have been attempting to sleep train E2..the biggest problem is S, who screams "Get Him Out of Here and Don't Bring Him Back!" everytime she hears him cry.
