Another Baptism....

Wow, we have another child baptized! K is so tender and sweet and it was great seeing him prepare and get so excited for his big day. I am so grateful that K could be baptized and confirmed by his father. It was an amazing day and I know that K will be blessed throughout his life as he keeps the covenants he made.

K was blessed to have great friends and family at his baptism to support him. My parents, Grandpa Tom, Harleane & Jerry, The Kerrs, Cordovas and others were there to show their love for him. After we invited everyone to our home for dinner and a great visit.

It is Great to be Eight!!

Our K turned 8 on November 12. He has grown up so much this past year. It is never quiet in our home when he is around. Most people would not guess this, but he is always making us laugh. He is a great big brother and son and we love him!

For his birthday he chose to have a party at the bowling alley. Here are the boys keeping it lively!

Can you believe they make bowling shoes this small..... so cute! E was so nice and spent his time helping his brother bowl.

K and all of his friends.... they had so much fun!

Rigby Owen Moore

Rigby arrived eight days late on October 29, 2010 at 12:33 a.m.. He weighed 8lbs and 3 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. I was induced 7 days after my due date and the labor was long, but the epidural finally came and made everything bearable. We love having a baby again. The kids are so excited to play with him. So far, he is good eater, sleeps well and HATES the car!! We are so happy to have him in our family.

Soccer, soccer and more soccer...

This year we have three kids in soccer. At first I thought we were crazy, but seriously it has been so much fun. I think we are all exhausted after our Saturdays full of games, but watching the kids enjoying themselves so much makes it all worth it.

E showing his look of concentration...

K is the tallest on his team and loves to play defense.

S loves soccer... every time she makes a goal she turns to us and gives us a thumbs up!

Back to School...

Well, I am playing catch up on the blogging. This year three of our children are in the same school. E2 was so sad the first day when he realized that he was all alone with me.

K is in 2nd and E started 4th grade. I cannot believe they are growing up this fast.

S started Kindergarten this year. I almost cried dropping her off. She was so happy to start her first day and even wanted me to just drop her off without getting out of the car. That did not happen!

BIRTHDAYS!!!

In May we have three birthdays to Celebrate....

E's birthday is May 9th and he turned 9-years-old... we cannot believe we are old enough for this! This year he chose to invite two friends and his brother to a movie, "How to train a Dragon", and to Cold Stone for ice cream. They had so much fun! We are amazed how much E has grown this year. He definitely keeps us busy and we love his humor, constant questions, inventive plans and projects and great love for his Savior.

S, our Sassy one's birthday is on May 16... she turned 5 this year. Our little girl is growing up and I am so sad! The time is going by way too fast.... This year she invited her cute friends to a Gymnastics birthday party. The kids had a ball running through all of the obstacles and trying to balance on the beams. We have fun watching their excitement... S is simply a joy to have in our family. She is sweet, funny and always trying new things.

S was so excited to have her cousin Abby at her birthday party. Abby came into to town the day before and was able to join the party.

Life is NEVER Dull in our Home

these past few months have been extremely busy, stressful and wonderful at the same time... we have said a lot of prayers and been blessed so much... here are a few of the things that have kept us busy...

Callings
- Doug is now in the bishopric working with some amazing men. He is busy but really is enjoying the change. I am now the Nursery leader.... the kids are cute and this too shall pass....

Health - the major sickness has all passed!!! all the kids are healthy, my hearing finally came back three weeks after my infection and we are grateful...

Kids - the boys just finished their baseball season and are starting the playoffs. Their team is undefeated and I am kind of wishing they were not this good, then the end would be in sight... We also just finished putting on their school carnival which was a huge success... very happy this is done. S is loving school and E2 is active and mischevious as usual...

House - our plans have changed... instead of building a home on our property we have decided to buy a house... soooo basically we having been working ourselves to death to get our current house on the market.... Our house is Finally on the market! It has been a week and I already want this experience to be over!!! I know Heavenly Father has provided us with the strength and energy to survive this... this too will pass (i keep telling myself this)

#5 - well we are having our fifth and LAST baby... the sickness has passed and I am feeling so much better... in a few weeks we will tell you if the baby is a boy or a girl... S and I really want another shopping buddy, but the boys are determined to add to their team...

Poop, Puke and more Poop....

the life of a mother.... my past few weeks have been filled with sanitizing the entire house (several times), cleaning all sheets, blankets, towels, etc... and scrubbing poop off of the floor and carpet (my favorite)...

i have discovered that sometimes you can look/plan ahead and at other times we have to live day to day, moment to moment and I think i am here.... if i plan too far ahead i get too discouraged when another kid gets sick and the entire schedule is thrown out the window.

my kids have been on and off sick for the last two and half weeks... finally last weekend i fell sick also, which i was laughing about because along with me the entire family was throwing up, so even in that moment i was the one taking care of everyone else...

i thought all was better and then S came down with a fever in the middle of the night... here we go again!

Elephant Seals

On our last day of Christmas break we decided to head to the coast. As we drove, Fly Guy and I discussed how bad our state's economy is and what other places we might possible want to live in.... then as we got over the hill and hit the coast we understood why we live here! the day was like a summer day, beautiful, clear, and warm... we could not have asked for a better day.

this is E2's first time seeing elephant seals and he was thrilled... i love the discovery stage...

these are the amazing elephant seals... they stretch all along the coast. my kids loved seeing so many babies this year and hearing all of the funny noises they make.

the kids stayed in the same spot examining every aspect of the seals... i am capturing the moment of no fighting and peace...ahhh!

K enjoying the moment...

On our way home we stopped at our favorite overlook to see the beautiful view. The sky was clear and we could see all along the coast.
