Father's Day

Here is my Man in his new Father's Day shirt...
isn't he so cute ....

Words cannot express how grateful i am to have him as a husband and father...
*i love how amazing he is with our kids
*i love how he teaches our children from the scriptures daily
*i love his testimony and love for his Savior
*i love his generousity
*i love how he never gives up on us....especially me
*i love his sense of humor
*i love Love LOVE HIM! (all very mushy, but hey it's true)

I have always said that the way to Fly Guy's heart is through breakfast.... so of course I had to make something special. He requested quiche, which the girls at the office appreciated because they always get at least one or two also.

His other request was to spend the day after church with good friends. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed being outside and visiting.

E2 trying out the trike for the first time...

I also want to say Happy Father's day to Al and Russ. Fly Guy & I are lucky to have you both. You are great examples and always keep us smiling. We Love You!

Swim Day...

summer, Summer, SUMMER...

Finally it feels like it! I was in charge of a Swim Day for 30 8-12 yr-old girls. The day was beautiful and we had so much fun! After, I stayed and swam with my kids for another hour and actually felt relaxed... I love beautiful sunny days by the pool!

The best part of a long swim day is this... quiet rides home with almost all the children asleep, Awesome!

Camping with the BOYS

Fly Guy took E, K and Harrison (our adopted son/friend) on a camping trip. This was Harrison's last opportunity to fish before his mission. The boys were thrilled to leave school a day early to go camping!

Fly Guy tried to take a cute picture of the boys, but they could not be serious for a minute. They had to put a tarp over the tent because it rained most of the time.

K caught SIX fish in a row within twenty minutes or so...Awesome! His brother didn't get so lucky. He was too busy exploring and eating snacks.

Three COOL Guys! Harrison has been like an older brother to the boys and they want to do exactly what he does...

School is OUT!!

The Last Day of School! I think I am more excited than the kids. The boys had crazy hair day and they loved it...

K graduated from Kindergarten... This year he had Senora de Puentes who is soooo patient. I guess you have to be to teach kinder.

Senora Nicolai was E's teacher. From day one she understood E and knew his potential. This year she pushed him and he improved dramatically. She definitely has a gift! For me having someone understand your child and see them for who they are is the most you could hope for. We will miss her!

First Cavity

I had to show this picture...S had her first little cavity & Fly Guy had to get to work and fix it! He said she did fine and did not even complain. She kept telling us that her face was happy....can't you tell by the photo! She is smiling, but her face is numb. The tingling feeling made her think that her face must be Happy! Every time I looked at her I couldn't help but laugh... Is this what we really look like after the Dentist?

Ramblings of a TIRED Mom....

I have several things I want to post, but life has gotten in the way!

-This is our LAST week of school...so I am wrapping up teacher gifts, making cookies, buying juices boxes for parties, volunteering my time and trying not to forget too many things
-my good friend Kelly is coming to visit today, so I am cleaning and figuring out what to prepare for dinner in my spare time....of course I want it to be fabulous, but I might have to settle for done!
-E2 has a doctors' appointment today...I know you are thinking why would she have planned it on such a busy day.....WELL I didn't, it was planned for last week but on the way to the doctor, S threw up all over the car and now we are onto plan B.
-S has a dentist appt., a cleaning...she loves these
-Fly Guy has decided to take the two older boys out of school on Friday and go camping...this is great, but now I have to add packing to my list...
-E2 woke up at 5:30a.m. for the fourth day in a row....i am tired...
-my workout is looking less feasible....now how do I keep the grumpiness at bay...

I know that I am not alone in having crazy days....thanks for letting my vent and now I'll stop stalling and get back to work....
